What is cinematic color grading?
Color grading is the process of shaping the tones and colors of an image after it's shot. The "cinematic" style comes from motion pictures: shadows are pushed toward cool teal and blue, highlights and skin tones stay warm and golden, and contrast is shaped with gentle curves instead of harsh clipping. The result feels moody, expensive, and film-like — even from a phone photo.
